WVSSAC partners with iWanamaker for live golf scoring and tournament management

The WVSSAC has entered into a multi-year partnership with Wanamaker Corporation, making iWanamaker the official event management platform for all WVSSAC regular season and postseason high school golf tournaments beginning fall 2025. This includes all state tournament and state tournament-qualifying events.

Through this partnership, iWanamaker and the WVSSAC Golf app will become the official online hub for West Virginia High School Golf event management, player rosters, live scoring, and rankings. The platform also gives athletic directors, coaches, and student-athletes free access to schedules, live leaderboards, player scorecards, rankings, and additional features through its established Golf Tournament Management Platform (iWanamaker and associated native apps). Fans and spectators can access enhanced features through ticketed options, with revenue shared back to the WVSSAC and member schools.

Wanamaker Corporation serves high school sports organizations across 32 states, offering secure digital tools to streamline tournament operations and elevate the fan experience.

“We are excited to be in a partnership with Wanamaker Corporation,” said Wayne Ryan, WVSSAC Executive Director. “We are confident that this cutting-edge technology will enhance the experience for fans, parents, media, student-athletes, and school officials by providing real-time results and in-depth data throughout the regular season and postseason.”

“Together with the WVSSAC, we are excited to help increase awareness and grow the sport across the state by bringing online secure scoring, accurate golfer rankings and increased scoring integrity to all members of the West Virginia high school golf community,” said Doyle Heisler, CEO of Wanamaker Corporation. “West Virginia has a long history of producing many prominent golfers, and we’re excited to be a part of that legacy. This partnership is seen not just as a contemporary advancement but as a continuation and amplification of a proud tradition, nurturing the next generation of golfing talent and ensuring that West Virginia continues to be a fertile ground for future golf stars.”
