Please read and review the policies before applying for credentials for championship events.
Overview:
• Regular Season and Preliminary Round Events: Credentialing is managed at the local level. Host school are solely responsible for granting access to media for Regular Season and Preliminary Rounds. Media members seeking credentials and access to Regular Season and Preliminary Rounds should contact the Host school principal or athletic director in advance of any competition. This includes print, television, online, social media, photography, radio, audio, and/or video streaming.
• Final Site Events (Championships): All media must apply directly to the WVSSAC for access to a WVSSAC Final Site competition. All applications must be submitted through the WVSSAC credentialing portal. Credentials from Regular Season or Preliminary Rounds do not transfer or guarantee approval by the WVSSAC for Final Site competitions.

The intellectual property, corporate, broadcasting, streaming and media rights to all WVSSAC postseason events are the exclusive property of the WVSSAC, which retains all rights to their use, reproduction, and distribution. Any commercial use of content captured at WVSSAC events requires prior approval through the credentialing or licensing process. Details and eligibility requirements are included in the Media & Credential Policies document.

Radio/ Video/Audio Streaming
Football Playoff Rights/Fees Information:
For radio stations, video/audio streaming services, and television stations interested in securing non-exclusive media rights to any WVSSAC football playoff game, click on wvssac.online and complete the online registration. Payment via credit card/debit card is required at registration. Rights granted by the WVSSAC are subject to acceptance of current terms and conditions by Licensee. Click here for more information.
